Tonight we saw Banbridge take on Ballyholme at home in Division 4 of the Belfast and District Table Tennis League. The match ended with a score line of Banbridge (3) and Ballyholme (7). The format for the match was a 3 Vs 3 player format. Paul Clarke reporting on the match said “Great night of table tennis at Banbridge with some fantastic rallies in every match and a whole raft of contrasting styles amongst the six players. A number of matches were going one way by large margins only to be overturned by the opponent changing their tactics. Man of the match was Albert Coulter who won his three singles in straight sets and combined with Ron to overturn a 2-0 sets deficit and win the doubles to give Ballyholme some icing on the cake by making it 7-3 instead of 6-4.”.
