Tonight we saw Craigavon B take on Killyleagh at home in Division 3 of the Belfast and District Table Tennis League. The match ended with a score line of Craigavon B (4) and Killyleagh (6). The format for the match was a 3 Vs 3 player format. Andrew Gibson reporting on the match said “This report may have a familiar look to it as Killyleagh won the match in the final doubles for the 3rd week running. Both teams were very closely matched and the score could easily have been reversed. For the second week running, Brian Keenan made a telling contribution for killyleagh with a gutsy 3-2 win over Joe, coming back from 2-0 down and winning the 3 remaining games 13-11. Aedan was in fine form for Craigavon, winning 2 matches and pushing Andrew to 5 sets in the other. A great night of table tennis with Killyleagh now unbeaten after the first 3 rounds”.
