Neil Magrath reporting on the match said “Glenburn true to form had another seesaw match which after 6 games saw the match sitting at 3-3. Lucy C then won a crucial match against M Willis 3-2, going 2-0 up only to be pegged back to 2-2 before coming back strongly to win the 5th. Steve and James followed this up with fine wins to put the match beyond Bangor. In the doubles James and Lucy C maintained their unbeaten record on the night and as a doubles partnership in a very entertaining match with great rallies against M Willis and D Coates to win 3-1 and see Glenburn home 7-3. Thanks to Bangor for friendly match which included many nets and edges for both teams!”
