Tonight we saw Killyleagh take on Ormeau 3B at home in Division 3 of the Belfast and District Table Tennis League. The match ended with a score line of Killyleagh (4) and Ormeau 3B (6). The format for the match was a 3 Vs 3 player format. Brendan Popplestone reporting on the match said “A great night of table tennis played in a good spirit. Matthew Mooney stepped up to fill in for a late withdrawal for ormeau with a great performance. Andrew for Killyleagh was unassailable in the singles. It all came down to a crucial doubles match which was edged by ormeau to give them their first win of the season”.
