Tonight we saw Queen’s take on Ormeau A at home in Division 2 of the Belfast and District Table Tennis League. The match ended with a score line of Queen’s (8) and Ormeau A (2). The format for the match was a 4 Vs 3 player format.
Chris White reporting on the match said “An excellent night’s table tennis at the PEC saw Queen’s secure an 8 games to 2 victory. The match included three tense 5 setters with Jeff losing narrowly to Julian but securing victory over Chris by 14 to 12 in the final set; Chris used all his experience to edge out Anna in the final set. It has been a most entertaining first half of the Division 2 programme and the league is nicely set up for after Christmas.”
